Money In The Bank

London, England

July 1st, 2023

Money In The Bank Ladder Match
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Ricochet vs. LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar vs. Butch vs. Damian Priest vs. Logan Paul

I applaud them for not giving Knight the win. I know he’s over with fans but I just don’t see him as the big name yet. Logan Paul felt like a star here with everyone gunning for him and he didn’t need the win. Some good spots here and the Ricochet / Logan spot was close to a massive incident.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match
Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez

I hate that we are gonna get Shayna / Ronda now. The tag titles feel worthless and while I’m happy both Liv and Raquel get another title, they are a random team.

3 / 5

WWE Intercontinental Title Match
Gunther (c) vs. Matt Riddle

Riddle could be a threat but he just isn’t. This was solid though for what it was and Gunter was never in trouble for a loss.

3 / 5

Singles Match
Cody Rhodes vs. Dominik Mysterio (w/Rhea Ripley)

Another half random match. Cody was clearly winning and Domink losing does nothing bad to him. This was a fine Raw match but feels like they just don’t have much for Cody.

Money In The Bank Ladder Match
Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch vs. Bayley vs. IYO SKY vs. Zelina Vega vs. Zoey Stark

This had a lot of spots but never really connecting great. A few pretty vicious spots too that could have gone bad. The ending though was super clever even if I don’t entirely like the winner, interested to see what they do though.

WWE World Heavyweight Title Match
Seth Rollins (c) vs. Finn Balor

Rollins winning isn’t shocking and Priest hanging around was interesting at least. This was a fine match but just nothing too great coming from either guy.

3.25 / 5

Tag Team Match
The Usos (Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso) vs. The Bloodline (Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa) (w/Paul Heyman)

Storyline aside this match wasn’t great. The first half was boring and dragged on with the ending being a finisher party. The long term storyline here is working still but I’m not sure how much longer we can drag it out. Reigns taking a pin though is a big deal.
