While the band’s current setlist for their world tour is quite good, longtime fans of Bring Me The Horizon are likely a bit disappointed by the lack of older material being played live. Of course, it makes sense. While their 2008 album Suicide Season and its follow up There Is A Hell… just don’t see much airplay during their live sets, it’s mainly because their greatest commercial successes have come on their last 3 records – counting the impending release of Amo, anyway.
All that being said, the band managed to pull out some old favorites last night, including “The Comedown”, “Diamonds Aren’t Forever”, “Medusa”, and “RE: They Have No Reflections” – the latter of which is one of the band’s oldest songs. While it’s very possible these 4 tracks were pulled out for a special occasion (vocalist Oliver Sykes’ birthday), we’re fairly sure show attendees were in for a shock.
