You can get pretty hyped for this one – given the number of pop-influenced alternative rock bands coming out of the UK lately, you’d be remiss to sleep on The Gospel Youth. Certainly one of the bands that’ll gain a ton of hype this summer on the Vans Warped Tour, the band just announced their Rise/Velocity Records debut, Always Lose. The album, which drops July 14th, comes right in the middle of the band’s stint on Warped, which will no doubt see the band gain plenty of new fans.
The band also put out a new video for the track “Moods Like English Weather”, which has already hit the 12,500 view mark in just 18 hours. While that’s not necessarily any sort of barometer of immediate success, it’s pretty clear that the future is bright for The Gospel Youth. Stay tuned.
