VCTMS release one of their best songs to date with left-field single, “New Face // Same Loneliness”

What VCTMS have accomplished as a band without management, without a label, and more or less complete independence is pretty inspiring for any heavy band. While they’re not necessarily the biggest band in the scene, they are one of the hardest working – seemingly always touring or releasing new music. On the heavier end of the metalcore/hardcore spectrum, VCTMS have always played with injections of melody in their music, but haven’t fully realized that – at least until their newest single, “New Face // Same Loneliness”, was released a few days ago.

The song, which features Juan of A Friend A Foe, almost sounds like the work of a different band. At its core, the track is an emotional empowerment anthem that really shows off the band’s diversity. It’s pretty impressive, and if this song is any indication of the direction the band might go next, we’re 100% on board with it – and you will be too.
