Newer bands are always facing a bigger challenge than previous generations of musicians. With a plethora of bands in just about any genre to consume day in and day out, it’s hard to separate yourself from the pack. Luckily, New York pop-punk band Brookline are here to offer up some standout music in the genre – and we’re stoked to be teaming up with the band for the premiere of the video for their acoustic rendition of “Two Thirds”.
Normally, most songs of the genre are probably better off not being over 5 minutes long. However, much like Rarity’s “Passenger”, lengthy tracks are something that Brookline are good at – and certainly they sound well beyond their years doing it, as well.
The new acoustic rendition arrives ahead of their upcoming acoustic EP, Live At The Bunker, which drops September 20th.
Brookline is:
Tommy Carter – Vocals
Mikey Pace – Guitar
Dae Bennett – Guitar
Matt Spinner – Bass
Chris Fox – Drums
