When post-hardcore heroes Thrice reunited and released To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere in 2016, it marked a sea change for the veteran band. While previous albums like 2005’s Vheissu cemented the band as a crowd and critical favorite, the 2016 album release – and in particular, breakout single “Black Honey” – gifted the band a deserved wider audience. You know, the kind of band that plays radio festivals.
While the band hasn’t released an album since 2018’s Palms, it appears we might just be getting a new album from the band this year, hopefully. It appears, based on recent postings on social media, that Thrice are indeed tracking their new album right now. When it’ll be released is anyone’s guess, but at least we know there’s activity in the Thrice camp. Here’s hoping we’ll hear new music from the band soon.
