Almost 20 years into their career, Active Rock mainstays Thousand Foot Krutch have seemingly climbed almost every mountain. Slots on multiple huge festivals like Carolina Rebellion and Rocklahoma? Check. Multiple high-charting Active Rock singles? Check. Album sales in a flagging industry? Check.
Unfortunately, 2014’s Oxygen: Inhale was the first real misstep of their career. It wasn’t necessarily a bad record (it was, after all, supposed to be the band exploring lighter tones and themes), but the final product did come out a bit tepid. With that being said, Oxygen: Exhale should be a treat for fans like myself who are keen for more of a throwback to the days of Phenomenon, or even 2009’s career highlight Welcome To The Masquerade. The first shot comes in the form of the new video for “Running With Giants”. It’s a giant single that shows the band in their absolute comfort zone, and it’ll be interesting to see whether the song is one of the biggest singles of their career. It certainly feels that way.
Check out the video below. The band is also announcing a co-headlining tour in the near future – so you’ll definitely want to stay tuned for that.
