The Offspring have confirmed they’re releasing a new album in 2021, their first in 9 years

Pop-punk legends The Offspring have nothing left to prove at this point. 1994’s breakout success Smash launched the band into the pop-punk boom of the ’90s, and is still the highest-selling album ever released on an independent label. They’ve also sold over 17 million albums in the USA alone, 40 million worldwide, and are one of the most commercially successful pop-punk bands of all time.

They also haven’t released an album since 2012’s Days Go By, but that appears likely to change this year with the recent announcement the band made on social media. Namely, that there’s a new Offspring album coming in 2021.

While the album doesn’t have a title yet, the band revealed in a recent Facebook post that they’ll be talking about the album “when the label lets us”, which means a release date is also unknown. You can probably expect more news on said album in the coming months, however.
