The Cleveland Browns clearly do not miss former head coach Hue Jackson

Statistically the 2nd worst head coach of all-time (at least where W-L is concerned), new Bengals special assistant Hue Jackson’s return to face the Cleveland Browns didn’t exactly go so well. Cleveland broke its 25-game road losing streak in emphatic fashion, 35-20, in a game that wasn’t nearly that close. The spiraling Cincy team was at one point down 28-0 to a team that hadn’t won a road game since the Obama administration.

To add insult to injury, multiple events happened during the game that were equal parts hilarious and sad at the same time.

For instance, Browns CB Damarious Randall picked off a pass early in the game, setting the tone for the day. Watch what he does with the ball after he steps out of bounds, though…

Chills were also in the air after the frosty reception Browns QB Baker Mayfield greeted Hue Jackson with after the game. Needless to say, it’s clear Mayfield had somewhere to be – at least anywhere that Jackson wasn’t.

Of course, with a recent report swirling that Jackson could end up becoming the next Bengals head coach if Lewis exits, there would be plenty of delicious irony there. After all, Cleveland now has 4 wins on the season and are surging on offense, while the Bengals defense is a sieve. For long-suffering Browns fans, this surely has to feel like sweet relief, as they’re engineering a very impressive turnaround.
