The Chain Gang Of 1974 returns with catchy, massive new single, “Wanting This”

The project of Kamtin Mohager (formerly of Teenage Wrist and also Heavenward), The Chain Gang Of 1974 specializes in catchy, upbeat (mostly) electronic/indie pop-rock that is guaranteed to make you feel something. Usually, it’s past feelings for a lover or a simpler time. Perhaps it’s the feeling you get from a new flame currently. Or maybe it’s something else entirely.

Either way you slice it, new single “Wanting This” will leave you, well, wanting more of this. If you vibed with Mohager’s older work, or even the newer stuff, there’s a lot to enjoy here. And consider all Chain Gang music is now being released on Mohager’s own label (Fever LTD.), you might well expect new music to arrive faster. Hopefully, anyway.
