WWE events, formerly known as Pay-Per-View (PPV), are set to take place throughout this year, with an average of one show per month. Below is a breakdown of every WWE premium live event and all the shows that will occur throughout 2023 and beyond.
Keep in mind you can’t bet on WWE events at most sports betting websites. Nonetheless, there’s a variety of options that support MMA, boxing and wrestling events whose results are not determined beforehand.
Saturday, February 18, 2023-Elimination Chamber
For the first time since 2009, the biggest WWE premium live event is coming to Montreal. The vent will emanate from Montreal’s Bell Centre on Saturday, February 18. Also, WWE will host a Friday Night smackdown a day before the main event kicks off on Saturday.
Montreal has only hosted three WWE events in history, with the famous being the 1997 Survivor Series. In 2003, Montreal also hosted No Way Out, which featured The Rock and Hulk Hogan. 2009 was the most recent event Montreal hosted, which saw CM Punk earning triumph over Undertaker in a submission match.
That said, WWE has five events lined up for the Chamber. Two of them are titular gimmick bouts. The other two are single matches. And there is one mixed tag.
Various groups of wrestlers have lined up for the show. The undisputed WWE champion Roman Reigns is set to combat Sami Zayn. Austin Theory will look to defend USA’s title against five elite contenders inside the elimination chamber on Saturday.
Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley vs. Edge and Beth Phoenix are out for retribution at the WWE elimination chamber. Six superstars will battle to determine who will win victory for the raw women’s title at WrestleMania.
Perhaps the most anticipated clash is Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar. Who will betting odds favor to emerge victorious?
Friday, March 31, 2023-WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
Each year, WrestleMania weekends incorporate special events to allow WWE and fans to celebrate wrestling as a whole. That special event is the Hall of Fame.
This induction ceremony is set to take place on March 31, 2023, at the Crypto.com Arena (formerly known as Staples Center), starting at 10 pm EST.
Last year, Undertaker headlined the event. This year, there are more than a few inductees for inclusion. And none is more worthy than Batista. The six-time world champion and two-time royal rumble champ, Batista is a legend in the wrestling industry.
Saturday, April 1, 2023-NXT Stand & Deliver
According to previous events, NXT Stand & Deliver precedes the weekend of WrestleMania. The trend will continue on Saturday when WWE hosts one of the year’s most significant events.
However, no matches have been revealed yet. As weeks approach the big show, we expect more information to be announced.
Saturday/Sunday, April 1-2, 2023-WrestleMania 39
Since 2020, every WrestleMania has occurred in two nights. And this is the tradition that will continue with WrestleMania 39, which is set to take place on Saturday, April 1, and Sunday, April 2, at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
The dust from the 2023 Royal rumble hasn’t still settled, and here is the card of WrestleMania 39 already starting to take shape. Undisputed rumble champions Rhea Ripley and Cody Rhodes have a title to look forward to.
Charlotte Flair and Roman Reigns are also set to face respective opponents on April 1-2. Bianca is also set to challenge the winner of the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. The list of other competitors for the event is not still fully revealed.
Saturday, July 1, 2023-Money in the Bank
Money in the Bank is back. It’s scheduled to take place at the O2 Arena in London later in July. This event will mark the first WWE live event that will take place in London since 2002’s Insurrextion PPV. It is also one of the biggest shows in London since the 1992 Summer Slam.
While many fans asked why WWE didn’t choose a stadium to host Money in the Bank, sources revealed that WWE values the O2 Arena quite much. British fans have been longing for WrestleMania to take place in the UK. While it is not in the cards for 2023, a successful Money in the Bank can go a long way towards turning dreams into reality.
The event will offer two superstars an exciting opportunity that only comes once a year. At the night’s end, champions will win the Money in the Bank briefcase, allowing them to win a significant WWE title.
However, there is no information about who will be included in this big event. But the weeks following WrestleMania will provide an idea of who will be in the mix.
