One year after the release of their breakthrough album Rare, alt-rock band Hundredth go even deeper down the watering hole with Ultrarare, a 7-track EP of reimagined and remixed songs from that aforementioned album.
It’s especially interesting to see and hear the reimagined songs. Stunningly, they (again) sound like the work of a startlingly different band, having more in common with IDM and electronic musicians like Aphex Twin and Tycho. Surely a vast difference from their hardcore roots.
