Tampa, FL post-hardcore/experimental veterans Richard Cory have just released their new EP, Is This Tomorrow. Fans of bands like Burden Of A Day, The Chariot, Birds In Row, and even Suis La Lune are going to find the ambient soundscapes and Kyle Kleemichen’s vocals quite cathartic. You can stream it below, and be sure to show the band some love as well – it’s an EP that had no outside assistance – all was done in house, which makes it quite impressive.
“Is This Tomorrow” is an album that is over a year in the making. When we set out to record this EP, we decided to do it entirely on our own – without the help of any labels or over-priced studios. We took on the challenge of, not only writing everything ourselves (like we did on our last album), but recording, mixing, and mastering as well, with Cody (Guitarist) working as producer. With original drummer Alan Ritchie leaving to serve our country in the US Army part-way through the recording process, Josh Berkoff joined the new line-up and “Is This Tomorrow” was officially born.
This album represents countless hours of hard work and dedication by all the members of the band. All instruments and effects are live-tracked, and we genuinely tried to capture the essence of who we are as individuals and as a band. This is our heart and we are so excited to finally share it with you all! Enjoy!
