One of 2015’s greatest finds is here with their debut full-length album, Maybe Tomorrow. I’m talking, of course, about South Carolina rockers Ivadell, who are offering up a batch of songs that bring to mind a more melodic Quicksand, or Hum and Slowdive with more guitar riffs, or…you catch my drift. Somewhere between Quicksand, Failure, Hum, Slowdive, and Catherine Wheel lies Ivadell, who may be playing music that sounds dated, but is actually timeless and provocative in nature. Solid guitar riffs with ethereal harmonies never really gets old.
