The fact that melodic death metallers Soilwork are on their 10th studio album, yet continue to get better with age, is nothing short of remarkable. Their new album, The Ride Majestic, is the followup to 2013’s landmark double album, The Living Infinite – and it’s a melodic metal monster, to be certain.
I personally can’t wait to see the new tracks performed live, on their upcoming US tour with Soulfly, Suffocation, and Shattered Sun. If for some reason you ever lost faith in the band following a few disappointing (but still solid, in this writer’s opinion) albums, do yourself a favor and listen to the title track below. You won’t be disappointed – it’s one of the band’s strongest albums to date.
