Sleep Token’s viral success over the last 12 months has been years in the making, and it’s anything but a mirage, actually. Keep in mind, the band’s most popular song (by almost a 2:1 ratio, on Spotify anyway) is “The Summoning”, which is awfully close to 100 million Spotify streams and also clocks in at almost 7 minutes in length. For a faulty but still interesting comparison (especially when it comes to their individual demographics), a band like Tool also dabbles in lengthier tracks and might even have a similar cult fanbase at this point.
Similarly, it’s almost impossible to obtain Sleep Token tickets anymore. In fact, it’s really been this way since about 12 months ago, when the band’s shows in smaller venues sold out around as quickly. It shouldn’t surprise you to hear, then, that (almost) every ticket for their upcoming North American headlining tour has evaporated in short order, minus a small amount in Montreal. And because of a botched pre-sale campaign from AEG Presents, many fans missed out on their chance to experience it all.
Eternal thanks to those amongst you who deemed me worthy of such accolades.

Let’s be real here, though. Selling out the kinds of venues they’re playing, in just a few days, is pretty wild to think about. There was actually a time where they were moreso a new curiosity in the underground than some kind of insta-selling venue headliner.
Tickets for the āTeeth Of Godā North American tour have been swiftly depleted, save for limited remaining allocation in Montreal.
In the meantime, so-called ābot/scalperā purchases are being identified and cancelled, before being redistributed for genuine followers to procure. pic.twitter.com/CZ5bvTPQY5
