Yet another awesome show at Palaver Thursday! We’re on a streak! Thanks to the guys from Hurts to Laugh, Left & Right, and Tall, Dark, Stranger for putting on an amazing show!

A couple members of Tall, Dark, Stranger were first with an acoustic set that started the night with relaxed vibe. Just an acoustic guitar and mini bongos. The music had a dark tone that really kept the mood light. If you’re planning a romantic night with that special someone, then I would highly recommend hiring these guys to stand in the corner and play mood music.

Left & Right were next and immediately broke into a fast and intense pace which gave a pretty good preview of the rest of their performance. Pure devastating energy! Actually, come to think of it, I would hire these guys to set the mood for a romantic night as well. Such an awesome performance!

Closing out the night were the awesome and always unpredictable, Hurts To Laugh. These guys hit the stage hard with an unrelenting heaviness that was welcomed with open arms. These guys are talented, to say the least. They are all amazing at their perspective instruments. Midway through their performance, the vocalist jumped on the drums and proceeded to play the best rendition of “Time After Time” that I have ever heard along with the other guitarist. Nothing was off limits for their performance. Fans in the crowd holding picket signs with nothing written on them, guitars with amp heads on top of them, with guitar cabs on top of that, guitars being rubbed on amps, speakers, other instruments, and just about everything else on stage. Those are just a few things that took place during their set.

This was an insane show! If you weren’t at FooBar for Palaver Thursday, then you missed out! Another amazing night put on by Palaver Records with support from Soundstamp and Starr Hill Brewing Company.
