Last Saturday night, Colony House, the indie rock band from Franklin, TN hit the stage hard with their high energy performance and songs at The Fonda in Los Angeles, CA.
Opening the show was Fleurie from Nashville, TN bringing her alternative pop songs to the stage. She’s in the process of releasing new music (specifically about California) and got everyone in the crowd singing her new single, Supertropicali. She gave us a little of everything from some dark pop tracks, to songs you can’t help but dance to and of course slowing it down with a couple songs on the piano.
Colony House started the show with a recorded message building up even more anticipation in the crowd while they waited for the show to start. The band came out with so much energy and Caleb running all over the stage. Caleb’s vocals were spot on, Will smashed the drums, and Scott and Parke were great on guitar and keyboard. The band played a bunch of songs off their new EP, Rotten Tomatoes like Natural and Automatic (featuring the opening act, Fluerie) and of course some of the classics like You Know It, Silhouettes and Moving Forward.
Can’t wait to see these guys come through again, I had a great time seeing them perform.
