To put it simply, Sbinedown is one of the most successful rock artists of the 21st century. With six studio albums since their 2003 debut Leave A Whisper, every album they’ve released has had a string of huge radio hits – from the likes of “Fly From The Inside” to “The Sound Of Madness”, they’ve experienced popularity across all eras, even as the scene changes around them.
Impressively, their 2018 album Attention Attention has also experienced success, more or less cementing their legacies at this point. In fact, it just gained a very special certification for album sales, a rarity in rock and metal today.
Now the album has received a Gold certification from the RIAA for over 500,000 units sold. Considering that very few modern rock and metal albums achieve enough album sales to even come close to this mark, that’s very impressive. And the band definitely dominates Spotify, too – three of the album’s biggest hits, “Devil”, “Monsters”, and “Get Up” have reached almost a combined 200 million streams on Spotify (over 181 million at the time of this writing).
