Spawning nearly seven years ago, Annapurna birthed their own take on a melancholic indie rock sound throughout their earlier releases. The Louisville, Kentucky-based indie rock group has released a full-length album, EP, and a handful of singles throughout their tenure in the music industry. Their debut album titled ‘The Greater Good’ was released in the midst of 2018, and Annapurna showcased a formidable knack of talent with their songwriting and execution. The band later released their EP ‘Natural Position’ in 2020 when the world underwent a dire pandemic. Annapurna is looking toward the future with their newest release ‘Cosmic Curiosities’, revitalizing their sound for a progressive approach. The new song features the up-and-coming multi-instrumentalist, Gabriel Levi. Annapurna goes all out with their newest song, showcasing heavy-hitting lyrical content, memorable harmonies, and impeccable guitar work. This refreshing sound is just what the band needed, and I’m excited for what Annapurna has in store for the future.
