Remo Drive has announced their 4th full length album, “Mercy”, the bands first full release in 4 years. They’ve also released the title track of the album as well, the 3rd single from this album following singles the band has released the past 2 years. The album will be released on Epitaph Records on Feb. 23rd. Featuring brothers Erik (vocals, guitar) and Stephen Paulson (bass) and produced by Phil Ek (The Shins, Band Of Horses), it’s the band’s most vulnerable and lyric-focused offering to date.
Inspired by a Nick Cave interview on the idea of mercy, the lyrics were written from a sarcastic POV and suggest to the listener that they should be completely unforgiving of anyone who ever does something that they don’t like. “This is (in my humble opinion) not good advice,” Erik warns.
