Reflections Bare Their Souls With New Song, “Actius Luna”

For those who’ve been wondering what Minnesota’s progressive metalcore stars are up to, you’ll not have to wait anymore – the band just dropped a new song, “Actius Luna”, from their new album The Color Clear. Not to say their previous material was any less passionate – 2013’s Exi(s)t was overall a solid effort – but “Actius Luna” takes it to a new level. It’s only fitting considering all the band has been through in the last 2 years, experiencing tragedy and things I wouldn’t wish upon anyone.

But it’s the already familiar refrain of “You are the sun, and I am your moon // I am your artist, you are my muse” that already resonates loudly in listeners’ ears. And if this one song is indicative of what fans will find on the album, it’s safe to say this hard-working Twin Cities band will find themselves rising to the top of the heap in a crowded field.
