Arizona music scene is quite passionate about it’s metal and it is a no brainer that we would have a tribute each year for one of our favorite musicians, Dimebag Darrell. This years DIMEFEST was presented by Death Weddle and Billy Gonzalez from the metal band Motive and was appropriately held at Joe’s Grotto. It featured some perfect examples of what this scene has to offer and was packed full of people that care about their music and their scene. I wasn’t able to film the entire show since they were utilizing both stages and were starting each stage right after the previous band was over BUT I did get 4 full sets recorded and am extremely happy with how they turned out as this was the test show for my new camera.
