Minnesota’s The Losing Hope have everything you could ever want in a band that blends both the catchy and the infectious. Pop-punk vocals that you’ll want to sing along with? Check. Occasional forays into heavier post-hardcore/metalcore sections that will compel you to mosh? Yep. Anime references? The Losing Hope throw that and the entire metaphorical kitchen sink at you on their new video for “Say It (Tiger & Dragon)”.
The band released their debut full-length The Town Without Me earlier this year, and this is just one of the more notable songs on the record. For newcomers, you generally know what you’re getting from this style, but a good musical starting point might well be Cartel’s Chroma record, or even the more pop-punk side of bands like Four Year Strong. “Say It (Tiger & Dragon)” is basically guaranteed to get stuck in your head either way, so get to listening!
