The LA Rams are helping us get one step closer to a heavy metal Super Bowl show with the announcement that the Prince Of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne, will be performing during their home opener. This will take place Sept. 8th, one day before Ozzy’s new album “Patient Number 9” is set to drop.
The game will be presented nationally on NBC, Peacock and Universo at 5:20 PM PT/8:20 PM ET. Tickets are available at www.therams.com/tickets.
Fans in the stadium will be treated to a multi-song medley from Osbourne while viewers at home will see a portion of the performance on NBC and Peacock during halftime.
This will only be Ozzy’s second live performance since 2018, coming after last months appearance at England’s Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony. During that he performed 2 Black Sabbath songs and brought Tony Iommi along for a special appearance marking their first time back together on stage since Sabbath’s final show.
