It appears acclaimed New Jersey mathcore/grindcore/whatevercore veterans The Number 12 Looks Like You are in the studio, recording their first music since 2009’s Worse Than Alone. The band has generally reset the boundaries of what post-hardcore and experimental metal can truly be – especially on 2005’s arguably magnum opus, Nuclear. Sad. Nuclear. The band then went away for a few years in 2010 – but a year ago reformed to play a show in Kingston, New York.
