It’s almost impossible to believe, but it’s 100% true. No Doubt’s Tragic Kingdom – it went diamond with over 10 million US album sales – is 20 years old. The 3rd-wave ska classic, which was released around the same time period that their peers Sublime and Rancid were gaining popularity, eventually saw No Doubt playing the Vans Warped Tour to support it.
Though it can be said that they never quite recaptured the magic of singles like “Spiderwebs” with future albums (the follow-up, Return Of Saturn, took 5 years to see release), the band continued gaining even more mainstream popularity with massive hits like “Hella Good”, many years later.
Stream the whole album below, and rediscover the magic that is the alternative rock classic Tragic Kingdom.
