It’s rare that Sumerian Records doesn’t strike gold with a band they sign – just look at their current roster. Bands like Night Riots, Periphery, I See Stars, and many more diverse bands are playing to massive crowds, and dominating the charts as well. It may be time to add newcomers Bad Omens to that list as well. Their debut single “Glass Houses” certainly evokes memories of Bring Me The Horizon’s breakthrough album Sempiternal in that it’s an accessible metal/rock song that appeals to a large group of music fans.
What’s next for the band? Who knows. But a solid debut single is something to grow on, and having the support of a respected label is icing on the cake.
