With the surprise release of a new solo EP today, “Post Traumatic”, many fans of Mike Shinoda and all things Linkin Park are likely wondering what the next move is for Linkin Park, after the tragic loss of Chester Bennington. The fans have been nothing less than supportive during what is obviously a devastating time for the band. We now have a little more clarity on the future of Linkin Park, however.
In a Twitter exchange surrounding the new EP, Mike invited fans everywhere to ask him questions. Inevitably, the topic of Linkin Park’s future came up.
I have every intention on continuing with LP, and the guys feel the same. We have a lot of rebuilding to do, and questions to answer, so it’ll take time. https://t.co/nXLxTSd40J

The whole exchange is worth a read, especially seeing how Mike Shinoda has truly turned pain into art. And while the massive fanbase is likely hunting for anything Linkin Park-related they can find, it’s clear that any future material will be on their terms only. And that’s okay.
You can stream the 3 new tracks below on our “New Blood” playlist. They’re all worth repeated listens, but a particular highlight is the electro-rock anthem “Watching As I Fall”.
