In 2014, Of Mice & Men released their recent album “Restoring Force”. It sounded much different than their normal vibe; although it was an instant hit on the charts, many fans disliked the seemingly watered-down direction they were going towards. Fans have been waiting for Of Mice to announce some new music but the bandmates are already ahead of us. Austin Carlile, frontman of Of Mice, tweeted on March 30th, 2016 “Been really busy in the studio, sorry I’ve been MIA!! Pre-production almost complete. Can’t wait for you all to hear these new songs.”
On March 31st; Aaron Pauley tweeted a picture of his guitars next to his Apple laptop with “Studio vibes” as the caption. Then on April 11th, the official Of Mice & Men twitter account released this picture with the date of “April 11th” on it. Something big is coming and we cannot wait. It may be a new album and it could be their deluxe DVD/CD.
April 19th, Of Mice and Men tweeted a picture of bassist Aaron Pauley with caption “Album 4 bass tracking”. The next day, Of Mice & Men additionally tweeted a picture of drummer Valentino Arteaga with an alike caption to the previous day “Album 4 drum tracking”. If you think about it, Restoring Force was the band’s third album; therefore, it would be logical to assume that they’re currently working on a new record.
No other recent news has been released for the fans to view. I encourage you to stay connected with each of the band members and their official Of Mice & Men account on Twitter. They’ve been giving spoilers since April 19th towards their fourth album.
