With their last release in 2020 with EP The Color Of Bone, Metallic Hardcore outfit Violent Life Violent Death has released their second single “The Light Behind” off their upcoming record Break. Burn. End. Out everywhere via Innerstrength Records on September 15th, the single is unsurprisingly filthy.
The track bursts forward with perfectly timed rapid-fire drumming as vocalist Scott Cowan’s screeching screams spread themselves across the track, eventually collapsing into breathy chants of “The light behind…”.
Violent Life Violent Death will be performing at North Carolina’s First In Flight Fest 2023 on Friday, October 6th alongside Stretch Arm Strong, Advent, Blankface and Torch Runner. Get your tickets here.
