With 2 acclaimed full length albums under their belts, you could be forgiven for wondering why Michigan metalcore band Of Virtue aren’t a household name yet. That day may be coming, though, as the critically acclaimed act is now aligned with Sharptone Records. To celebrate the occasion, the band has also released a new track, “Suffer” – which they’ll be performing on their upcoming US tour, hitting most of the East Coast. They’ll be joined for part of the tour by fellow Sharptone Records act, Kingsmen.
About the new track, the band had this to say:
“We all have moments where we are grasping for straws, trying to make sense of the mess around us and just come up with nothing. “Suffer” was written from the perspective of someone who can’t seem to get out of their own head at times and is fed up with where their choices have led them. The song also deals with the role religion plays into this search and how people can use or attempt to pacify themselves with religion instead of taking a hard look into themselves in order to figure out the root of the pain” – Damon Tate (Guitar)
