Longtime Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins passes away at the age of 50

Longtime Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, who played on every record with the band since 1999’s There Is Nothing Left To Lose and also worked with Alanis Morisette and Coheed and Cambria, has passed away at the age of 50. The band posted on their official social accounts, no cause of death was revealed.

The band was set to play a major festival in Bogota, Columbia, and it’s being circulated on social media that he passed away there. That is, of course, not confirmed at this time – but we’ll keep you updated. Either way, the drummer was prolific not just with Foo Fighters, but as an in-demand drummer on many other projects.
