Lollapalooza has always been a diverse festival with the last few years giving fans their taste of rock and this years festival is no different. While we have names like Machine Gun Kelly, Dua Lipa, J Cole, Charli XCX and others we also have a taste of more. Metallica returns as a former Lolla headliner as well as Green Day but more so we see hardcore heavyweights Turnstile up high on the festival along with such others like British rockers Idols.
Whats cool though is seeing bands like Meet Me @ The Altar and LØLØ who have both been killing in the pop punk scene in the last year. What comes as a shocking sight though is seeing current death metal favorites and TikTok heavyweights Lorna Shore gracing the lineup. Fans will be in awe when they watch Lorna Shore play at noon or so on a bright summer day before some rapper hits the stage.
Lollapalooza 2022 will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, July 28 to Sunday, July 31 in Grant Park.
Four-day tickets are on sale now, priced from $350 to $4,200. Single-day passes go on sale at a later date.
