Linkin Park’s “In The End” becomes the band’s second music video to reach one billion Youtube views

While “Numb” was the first to do so just last year, Linkin Park’s “In The End” has now become the band’s second music video to reach the one billion stream mark on Youtube. In fact, here’s a fun statistic – Linkin Park has two of the handful rock + metal music videos on Youtube with over a billion views. The others include Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”, The Cranberries’ “Zombie”, Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, and Guns N’ Roses’ “November Rain”, just to name a few. Esteemed company, certainly.

One of many hits off their Diamond-certified debut album Hybrid Theory, the video was directed by Joseph Hahn, and was one of the key catalysts in propelling the new band to superstar status. Chester Bennington would certainly be proud of this accomplishment, especially as the band gears up to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Hybrid Theory.
