Limp Bizkit proves mixed lineups are awesome by bringing Dying Wish, Wargasm UK, and more on upcoming tour

While it got cut short due to COVID-related concerns last year, Limp Bizkit’s tour with Spiritbox in tow did prove many things for all involved. One, Limp Bizkit’s renaissance is upon us. Two, Spiritbox are the band everyone wants as support on their tours right now. And three, Limp Bizkit’s dedication to bringing unique and interesting acts as support on their tours is really exciting.

Here’s the tl;dr version. Limp Bizkit announced a major headlining tour across the USA a few days ago, covering many of their upcoming festival dates as well. At this point, they’re not a band that really needs any kind of major support, as they still sell out most tours pretty fast. However, they rolled out a pretty stellar list of support acts on various dates of the tour, including rising metalcore band Dying Wish, Wargasm UK, hardcore upstarts Scowl, and even the likes of Yung Gravy and $not.

This is honestly pretty cool of the band to do, if we’re being honest. While not every band here will appear on every date together, you’ll see at least a couple of them each night on tour. And it makes a lot of sense. Limp Bizkit will get some new and younger fans to see them on tour, along with a diverse fanbase as well. The support acts on the tour, in return, will get a massive amount of eyes and ears on them. It’s a win-win for all involved, if you ask us. If bands like Limp Bizkit and Knocked Loose can understand that most people want diverse lineups instead of the same 4-5 bands touring together every single year, maybe some of those same bands will get it as well. Maybe.
