AEW

Dynamite

Jacksonville, FL

Dec. 29th, 2021

Ten Man Tag Team Match
Christian Cage, Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus) & The Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix) (w/Alex Abrahantes) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) & The Hardy Family Office (Isiah Kassidy, Marq Quen & Matt Hardy) (w/Jora Johl, The Blade & Tully Blanchard)

There was a lot going on here. It had a good solid pace but felt like it was almost too much with too many guys. Everyone only really got a small window to shine on. FTR and Lucha Bros as always are the highlights. Could have used more time possibly though.

2.5 / 5

Six Man Tag Team Match
Eddie Kingston & The Inner Circle (Ortiz & Santana) vs. 2point0 (Jeff Parker & Matt Lee) & Daniel Garcia

Its good to see Santana and Ortiz doing stuff more because of how good they are. Kingston as well is always good. While Garcia is technical and skilled in ring 2.0 just do nothing for me though and continued to be the bland part of the match here.

2 / 5

Singles Match
Colin Delaney vs. Wardlow (w/Shawn Spears)

This continues Wardlows push through squash matches. Boring as always and not doing anything to make me like him more.

.5 / 5

AEW TBS Title Tournament Semi Final Match
Thunder Rosa vs. Jade Cargill (w/Mark Sterling)

Rosa lead this match and by all accounts should have won. She’s great in the ring and the crowd loves her. This was a slower match but had its great moments. The ending while making sense could have been done differently.

2.5 / 5

Six Man Tag Team Match
Adam Cole, Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly vs. Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta) & Orange Cassidy

A solid but typical match. You knew who’d win given its Kyles first AEW match. Towards the end it always becomes a chaotic spot fest for tag matches which is what everyone always wants.
