James Earl Jones, who achieved great fame as an actor and also portrayed the voice of Mufasa, Darth Vader, and countless other iconic roles, has passed away at the age of 93.
James was one of 27 people that have achieved what’s known as EGOT – a Tony, Grammy, Emmy, and Oscar award. One of them was a non-competitive award, but that’s still a very exclusive club to be in. James was an acclaimed actor who appeared in movies like Field Of Dreams, The Hunt For Red October, and many more iconic films. But he’ll likely be most remembered for both his versatility and his distinct voice that held some of the most iconic voice roles in history. Amazingly, James had a stutter growing up that he had to overcome, which makes his accolades even more special.
