Even as full-scale tours start to go full swing again, COVID-19 is quite obviously still a thing (despite what conspiracy theorists might tell you), and it’s still impacting bands in the form of canceled shows. Even large-scale tours have been affected, with Lamb Of God’s Randy Blythe coming down with COVID a few days ago.
The show must go on, as is often said, and while LOG has already had the likes of Chimaira’s Mark Hunter fill in for the band last minute, Blythe couldn’t make last night’s show in Green Bay due to COVID. Continuing to make the best of a difficult situation, Lamb Of God enlisted…Fit For An Autopsy’s Joe Badolato. Wow, honestly pretty cool for anyone who got to witness it. Interestingly, Badolato’s vocal abilities are pretty easily transferable to the kind of groove metal that Lamb Of God is famous for, so it made for a (possibly) once in a lifetime opportunity for those able to witness it.
