Lake Mosaic release guitar playthrough for new song, “Losing Grip”

After releasing their debut single “What’s Left Of Me” earlier this year to positive reception, Lake Mosaic have emerged with another new song, “Losing Grip”. If you were a fan of their easycore debut, you’ll probably like this song too, which also features Fallow Land’s Whit Fineberg. The new track arrives off the band’s debut album, Perseverance, which is due out sometime this summer – so if you’re enjoying the kind of post-hardcore // pop-punk hybrid this band brings together, stay tuned for much more. We’ve also got a neat guitar playthrough for the song, which you can watch below.

In true punk form, Lake Mosaic’s newest single “Losing Grip” harnesses the energy of power chords and the “I don’t care” aesthetic — literally, those are lyrics from the chorus! Infused with bouncy, syncopated verse riffs and a shoegaze-inspired bridge featuring Fallow Land’s Whit Fineberg, Lake Mosaic’s second offering from their upcoming record balances the intensity of their first single, “What’s Left of Me”. Their debut record “Perseverance” is slated for a Summer release, and reflects themes of recovery, self-determination, and healing after trauma.
