Debut full-lengths are a chance for a band to make a lasting impression, a statement, if you will. Hopeless Records and Warped Tour newbies Trophy Eyes surely knocked one out of the ballpark with Mend, Move On – an album that manages to be surprisingly fresh and energetic, but more aggressive than their pop-punk peers. In fact, the band has more in common with bands like Set Your Goals – their rougher edge sets them apart in the best of ways.
I caught up with the guys from Trophy Eyes at Warped Tour, where we discussed their maiden voyage to the USA, the Warped experience, and their new album. Check it out after the jump.
