One of Sumerian Records’ most recent signees, California’s alternative rock band Night Riots is set to do big things very soon. They’re playing the entirety of Vans Warped Tour this summer, and their high energy single “Contagious” is climbing high on music charts nationwide.
I got the chance to catch up with drummer Rico Rodriguez earlier in the day in St Pete, where we talked about the initial signing to Sumerian Records, the confusion they initially had from fans of the label, and the success they’ve had so far as a band.
