It’s always interesting to talk with a band that’s matured so well over the years. Warped Tour 2014 was a huge success for The Maine, who have successfully navigated the major label waters in the past – but are now independent. Don’t let that fool you into thinking they aren’t popular, though. Seeing them at Warped this year was totally awesome.
I had a chance to catch up with guitarist Jared Monaco, and we talked about the joys of being independent, Warped experiences, and pulling a random person from the audience on stage during a song. It’s as awesome as it sounds. Check it out after the jump – and be sure to pick up a copy of the deluxe edition of Forever Halloween.
