As a journalist and lover of music, it always intrigues me to see bands that are hungry, driven, and grateful just to be able to play music. Ten minutes of hanging out and talking with Baltimore, MD’s rising pop-punk band 3PM left an impression on me for sure – these guys are going to be very big, very soon. In fact, their album Slow Me Down hit multiple Billboard charts recently, and they’ve sold over 4,000 albums this summer alone. That’s rather impressive for a band who’s helping out with catering, and playing several dates on the Ernie Ball stage.
I caught up with the band in St Pete a few weeks ago, where we talked about the Warped experience, working the catering area, and how they’ve managed to gain so many new fans on tour this summer. Check it out after the jump.
