Indiana-based nu metal band Identity Unknown release their new album “Nothing Left to Give”

Indianapolis, Indiana-based nu-metal band Identity Unknown captures the sound of the early 2000s wave of those nu-metal acts that rose the top of the charts like Korn. The Indiana based band puts emphasizes on dark rhythms powered by crushing groove and well structured songwriting.  Identity Unknown first surfaced in 2020 with their song “Not Feeling Sorry” and has now unleashed their debut album “Nothing Left to Give” and it’s a great modernization of an older genre. The album tops out at 10 tracks, all of which vary in their own unique way while keeping the sound rooted in a firm foundation. The vocal performance done by Aaron DeHart is a top notch performance that truly helps the band shine. The guitar work, which is done by Jake Newman is a perfect mixture of old school and new school within the nu-metal genre. The guitar patterns help compliment the vocal patterns that Aaron has created. The deep bass throughout the album is done by Brad Schane. Brad provides a unique deep dark tone with his bass that helps bring out multiple sections of the record. The heavy hitting drums are performed by Quentin Young, and the percussion is one of my favorite elements of the record. Identity Unknown has done a great job as a new band bringing what they want to be and sound like on display rather quickly and with precise execution. We highly recommend any fan of nu-metal to dive into the latest release by Identity Unknown.
