Planet Death

Toyko, Japan

Sept. 30th, 2022

Six Way Scramble Match
Kikutaro vs. Toshiyuki Sakuda vs. Jimmy Lloyd vs. Jordan Oliver vs. Nick Wayne vs. The Invisible Man

Typical GCW scramble. A few decent high spots and the bit with Kikutaro ruined any pacing it had. Nothing really memorable here. I also hate the invisible man stuff and bringing it back is horrible.

1.5 / 5

Death Match
Violento Jack vs. Cole Radrick

A very lackluster and uneventful match here. Two guys who should be in a bloodbath but this was just very tame and aside from some chops and dives wasn’t really much of anything. Almost like it felt like it was leading into something but never did.

1.5 / 5

Tag Team Match
Daisuke Masaoka & Takashi Sasaki vs. Effy & SHLAK

A very boring lackluster tag match. It dragged on and on but never really became interesting or exciting.

1 / 5

Death Match
Masashi Takeda vs. John Wayne Murdoch

A decent deathmatch here but nothing great. A bit slower with a few spots but the match itself seemed to move along too slowly.

2 / 5

GCW Ultraviolent Title Death Match
Rina Yamashita (c) vs. Mance Warner

A fun death match here with Mancer and Rina. Some good spots and Rina getting barbed wire stuck in her hair looked brutal. Nothing amazing but these two knew how to work together for something fun.

3 / 5

Three Way Death Match
Alex Colon vs. Toru Sugiura vs. Drew Parker

Another fun match but it just never felt special or memorable. Seems to be the common theme of this PPV. Good wrestlers but mediocre lackluster matches. Some good spots here and a lot of damage but just never fully delivered.

2.5 / 5
