From Autumn To Ashes tease return, possible new music

While it’s been a staggering 13 years since the band last released a record (career highlight Holding A Wolf By The Ears), post-hardcore band From Autumn To Ashes appear to be up to something big! Potentially, anyway, as the band reconvened for the first time in 4 years, 2 days ago.

While it’s unknown what the band’s plans are for the upcoming future, it does seem possible that band activity is reconvening in some way. And given how underrated the post-hardcore band were in their heyday (remember, bands who played around with both singing and screaming were few and far between at the time), it’s clear there’s a devoted fanbase for FATA. And it’s also clear that we’re not the only ones who realize how groundbreaking the band was, either, because as our friends at Kill Your Stereo have also noted, their final album Holding A Wolf By The Ears was aptly titled – ferocious drumming and a bite the band didn’t quite have previously. We’ll call it what it is, though – an essential modern post-hardcore album that borders on metal. Here’s to hoping this is the start of something for FATA.
