While he is plotting a return to music in some form, former Of Mice & Men vocalist Austin Carlile has seen it all in his time on Earth – from the lows of losing his mother at an early age and not being able to tour effectively due to Marfan Syndrome, to the highs of playing music to thousands of people and becoming an icon in the music community.
In a new video interview with I Am Second, which profiles athletes, musicians, and others from a faith-based perspective, Austin Carlile discusses what it was like to lose his mother, how he’s lived with Marfan Syndrome, and the triumphs and tribulations he experienced while in Of Mice & Men – as well as what the future holds. It’s quite a watch, if we’re being honest.
