If you want to hear what truly stunning musical growth sounds like, you won’t need to look much further than “Nosferatu”, the new song from Dizasterpiece. Evolving from a compelling solo hip-hop project to now a full band, both new Dizasterpiece singles bring together alt-metal and post-hardcore influences into the fray in ways that are organic – not just thrown together haphazardly.
Those familiar with previous Dizasterpiece material will likely notice that it really does sound like a new band. Creatively, you can tell they’ve been listening to quite a bit of Glassjaw recently, but there really is an incredible amount of diversity here. Considering how effectively the band’s post-hardcore and alt-metal influences blend in with their obvious hip-hop and hardcore foundations, they’ve crafted a true hybrid sound that has a wide-ranging appeal. So yeah, don’t sleep on this one.
