2024 country pop new sensation Dasha brought her Dashville, USA tour to Joes Live in Rosemont, IL as a stop on her first headlining tour. After bursting onto the scene in 2024 heavy thanks to the viral hit “Austin (Boots Not Walkin’)” she has been hitting most markets and festivals throughout the year.
Making this Rosemont stop all ages (while the venue is almost always 21+ outside a few shows sparingly) was a big deal as the crowd say many young girls with their parents here. As Dasha took the stage she also right away went up to say hi to people in the front and the by the stage exchanging friendship bracelets with them.
That won’t be the only Taylor Swift like thing at this show though. Dashas music ranges from country to a more pop country sound similar to debut Taylor Swift. While its clear Dashas heart is in country the flow of the music between the two genre works and gives her band a chance to feature stuff like a fiddle player.
Being a new artist her set was her entire debut album as well as the deluxe edition songs mixed with newer songs she has debuted since. The crowd sang and dance along all evening to her showing that she is going to be the next big artist and is already building that connection with a fanbase both young and old.
